NDA is sleeping out of India’s commitment to NAM movement, reflecting towards West

Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party, Sr. Advocate of the Supreme Court & Executive Chairman of State Legal Aid Committee, J&K has expressed surprise on the continuous silence of political parties in India on the silence of NDA (BJP) government towards the foreign policies relating to Non-Aligned Movement. The recent trends clearly indicate that BJP led government in India has been dragging the foreign policy of India towards western countries mainly under the influence of United States of America. India has grown and developed on the international platform as a Non-Aligned Nation from 1950 itself. India’s Non-Aligned Movement was initiated with a clear policy that India shall remain non-aligned country. The Indian leadership in spite of political differences has been one that India should not aligned the major power blocs may it be Anglo-American dominated one or under the direct supervision of the then USSR. Indian leadership moved very intelligibly, carefully and for the promotion of international peace and harmony. The Indian leadership managed to maintain friendly/cordial relations with both the East and the West in spite of critical problems with India’s neighbouring countries.

Prof.Bhim Singh an expert on the international law, who studied Masters Degree from London University in International Laws has made historic achievement by travelling around the entire world (nearly 150 countries) on two-wheels for peace mission. He expressed serious concern about the drifting of international policy of the present government of India, it appears, India is going neither to the East nor to the West but towards the group of international lobby under the control of the United States of America.

Prof.Bhim Singh has pleaded with the Govt. of India, particularly with the Prime Minister of India to revive initiative so that India goes back to its role it performed in the fifties to revive the Non-Aligned Movement in the world which is the only hope to ensure the international peace and security.

Prof.Bhim Singh who is also Executive Chairman of International Peace Council, India declared that the Peace Council shall organize an international conference in India in the month of March, 2019 with an attempt to revive the Non-Aligned Movement with the participation of the peace activists from the East and the West.
