Modi nor Amit Shah can act as dictators-Prof. Bhim Singh
Modi and his government for trying to repeat emergency days of 1975
Srinagar. Addressing huge rally at Suchetgarh bordering Pakistan today, Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of NPP & Executive Chairman of State Legal Aid Committee accused PM Modi and his government for trying to repeat emergency days of 1975 which is evident from the latest tragic and unconstitutional adventure that PM Modi attempted to repeat in Uttrakhand. Prof. Bhim Singh, Sr. Advocate in Supreme Court described the mishap of BJP in Uttrakhand by plucking Congress Legislators from the Congress Party and using them as guinea pigs in the Uttrakhand Assembly to topple and elected government by fraud and in utter violation of the mandate of the Constitution.
Prof. Bhim Singh was addressing a huge Panthers Party rally at the International Border (with Pakistan) in Suchetgarh (25 kms. from Jammu City). Prof. Bhim Singh said that the BJP has exposed itself in J&K by joining hands with the enemies of the Indian Constitution just for power and money.
Prof. Bhim Singh accused the BJP for playing fraud with the people of J&K by joining hands with those who do not salute India nor accept J&K as integral part of the India.
Prof. Bhim Singh said that the law of the land is clear and definite that any sitting legislators who defects from his political party stands expelled automatically without any ifs or buts. He said that the MLAs who voluntarily defected from the Congress stand expelled and therefore they have no legal right to continue as MLAs. This is the law of the land and Modi or his Amit Shah cannot act as dictators.
Hundreds of Panthers Party workers in Suchegarh passed a unanimous resolution condemning the dictatorial and unconstitutional act of BJP in Uttrakhand. Others who address the rally included Anita Thakur State General Secretary, Ashok Randawa Provincial Secretary, Sham Gorkha Vice-President PTU, Advocate Kesar Parveen Secretary Women Wing Panthers Party.
NPP Supremo accused PM Modi for siding with the undesirable forces in J&K just for power least realizing that his alliance for power with PDP or NC shall be more dangerous than the ISI sabotage in J&K. He said PM Modi and his advisors has no idea about the situation prevailing in J&K nor they have any information on the historical background vis-a-via the Accession of the state with the rest of the country. He asked, does PM know the intriguing language used in Article 370? Does he know the Article 370 collapsed on August 20, 1952 when so called state Constituent Assembly abolished monarchy in the state? Does he know that J&K was not merged in the Union of India when all states joined the Union of India by 26th January 1950? Does the PM know why J&K was not merged in the Union of India in 1950 with others states? Does he know that Article 370 turned dead on August 20, 1952 when the monarchy was abolished and Dr. Karan Singh was re-designated as Sadre-Riyasat from his status of ‘the Regent of the state’ ?. Does PM know that the Parliament he represents has no authority/power/jurisdiction to make any law vis-a-via Jammu and Kashmir ? Prof. Bhim Singh said that the Prime Minister and his team should find out the answers to the questions stated above before he finally takes a dig in the politics of Jammu and Kashmir.
Prof. Bhim Singh shall address Panthers Party rallies inviting the Panthers Party workers to join 34th Panthers Party Foundation Day celebrations at Dogra Hall, Jammu on 23rd March, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
