Violence in JNU, masked goons attack students, teachers
नई दिल्ली, 5 जनवरी 2019. जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय (जेएनयू) परिसर (Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Campus) में रविवार शाम अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (एबीवीपी) के कथित हमले में जेएनयूएसयू की अध्यक्ष ऐशे घोष सहित कई अन्य विद्यार्थी बुरी तरह से घायल हो गए। सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल वीडियो में घोष के शरीर से खून निकलता देखा जा सकता है। खबरों के अनुसार, लोहे की रोड से उसकी आंख पर हमला किया गया। प्राथमिक उपचार के लिए उसे पास के अस्पताल ले जाया गया है।
जेएनयूएसयू महासचिव सतीश चंद्र भी इस दौरान घायल हो गए और कथित तौर पर कुछ शिक्षकों पर भी हमला किया गया। सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल वीडियो के मुताबिक हमलावर बाहरी लोगों की भीड़, लाठियों डंडों के साथ कैंपस में दाखिल हुई थी। बदमाश बहुत सावधानी के साथ मुंह पर नकाब बांधे हुए थे।
वरिष्ठ पत्रकार और मोदी समर्थक समझे जाने वाले संजय बारू ने ट्विटर पर लिखा,
“मैं कैंपस में नहीं रहता। मेरी पत्नी वहां पढ़ाती है। उसके छात्र कैंपस में रहते हैं। वे भय से पुकार रहे हैं। यह एक संगठित हमला है जो मेरे जैसे पूर्व छात्रों के खिलाफ खड़ा होना चाहिए।”
राष्ट्रीय लोकदल नेता जयंत चौधरी ने ट्वीट किया
“जानलेवा भीड़ केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय में घुस जाती है और छात्रों और फैकल्टी पर घंटों हमला करती है! गृह मंत्री को इस्तीफा देना चाहिए! #JNUViolence”
